Epilogue
Tupper Lake Village

Up at 6:30am and tearing down camp. It did rain some overnight but held off long enough to get on the road to home. It took 10 hours to reach Harold and Laurie's home, 12 hours to Tony's and poor Ted, who drove almost all the way, had a 14.5 hour trip to home. And from Buffalo, New York, the rest of the way home, guess what? Yep, rain ALL the way. Larry and Sophia stopped off in Rochester after a short 5 hour drive to visit family.

In all it was a wonderful journey with beautiful scenery, good canoeing and great company. A special thanks to Larry and Sophia for putting the idea in our heads in the first place and doing most of the planning. And of course the beer Larry provided for us everyday while loading canoes and gear after paddling. Although it looks and sounds like all we do is drink beer, the one thing we NEVER do is drink while on the water. A special thanks also to Ted for providing his vehicle and doing most of the driving. Everyone agreed it was a trip worth repeating so who knows, maybe we will go again in the near future.
