Sandusky River & Honey Creek
May 8, 9, 10, 2015

Camping will be at Hecks Bridge Scenic River Access. The same place as last year. It is located in Seneca County at 7910 township road 28, South Tiffin, OH 44883. It's just north of township road 38 at the east edge of Collier State Nature Preserve. Or take township rd 28 west off of county rd. 19 or turn west on 28 off of ST RT 231. Cross CR 19 go to 90 deg. left turn (south) downhill to bridge, turn in on left.

The camping is primitive. Port-a-pot available, but no water. BRING YOUR OWN WATER. The camping will be free, I only have to cover cost of cleaning the port-a-pot, approximately $40.00. I will be camping Thursday night through Sunday.
Camp coordinates are: Latitude N 41 0.57' Longitude W 083 11.64'

Friday, shuttle to Forrest Nature Preserve on CR 6. Paddle 8 miles on Honey Creek to Sandusky River. Then Paddle another mile on Sandusky to Bel-Mar boat ramp in Tiffin. We will eat lunch and drink refreshments at Bel-Mar.

Saturday, Paddle from camp to Bel-Mar boat ramp. About 11.8 miles.

Sunday we could do the 10.5 mile paddle from CR16 bridge to camp, the same trip as Saturday of last year.

Saturday Potluck will be campfire food. I plan on bringing sweetcorn if I can find any ready.

Let me know who's planning on coming so we can clear enough tent sites.
