Kerri and I have reserved electric and water camper sites as well as primitive tent sites for Friday and Saturday nights. Additional nights are available at this time but cannot be guaranteed so let me know.
The camper sites are $40/night for 2 people. Sites can have up to 6 people/site @ an additional $10/adult. Kids are $5. Max capacity is 1 camper w/ 2 tents. Primitive sites are $25/night with a max of 4 people or 2 tents. The camper sites are 646-650 and the primitive are 819-823. They are fairly large sites with the primitive being somewhat remote but you can drive right up to all of them. We personally intend to camp in the primitive area but camper sites are close (see map on Mohican Wilderness Website).
Showers are located approximately halfway up to the office/general store and outhouses are located conveniently throughout the campground.
The campground is located right on the river. So as to relieve some shuttle time and miles....We will put in at camp and go down stream for one trip and put in upstream and take out at camp for another. I figure those that paddle Friday probably won't Sunday and vise versa.
We will stay with the COVID friendly guidelines, bring your own food for Saturday, but belly shots will be allowed after 8pm. Just checking to see if you are paying attention. They have a nice website that is very informative and offers a helpful map of the entire camping facility.
